Accused confessed to the Poultry businessman meju murder in Tangail

The arrested Sobuj Dewan (30) suspect of Poultry businessman Meju Ahmed (43) murder has given confessional statement. Sobuj Dewan, Poultry dealer gave the statement to the court of Rupama Kanti Das, Senior Judicial Magistrate’s in Tangail on Thursday under the section of 164. Meju Ahmed were killed for Business conflict and left into the drum, Sobuj said.

Police detained Sobuj Dewan from Jamgarah area of Ashulia and and Matiur Rahman (35), pickup driver from Kalihati upazila of Tangail on Tuesday. They were appeared before the court on Thursday.

The deceased’s wife, Hena Begum said that she suspect first against Sobuj Dewan, her husband’s business enemy. He is a dangerous terrorist in Savar area. Sobuj has made her husband in prison before by false case, she said.

In fact, Meju Ahmed was left out his house of Jamgarah area of Asuliyara for business trip with two lakh and 80 thousand taka at noon on last 20 August. Later his wife, Hena Akhter filed a general diary at Ashulia police station that he is missing on that night. After missing of the last 3 days, meju’s dead body was recovered by sakhipur police from plastic drum on road side of Dhaka- sagaradighi of Kalia Ghonarchala area of sakhipur upazila under Tangail district on last 23 August.

Makshudul Alam, officer in charge of Sakhipur police station said to Gonobiplop, the rest of the accused will be arrested soon of meju Ahmed murder.
